I don't think age is too relevant but I am sure that Master Gregory is using some top end kit to get those shots.
Not suggesting that we should blame our own equipment if we can't match his results but you need high quality fast lenses to get pictures like his.
As an example, I would like a long fast lens for my camera. A 500mm Nikon comes out at about £5000 so I will just invest £100 or so on a converter.
Us poor old pensioners you know.

Have to agree with you there Grandad
whilst not demeening young Berties talents, he must has some really expensive kit and a huge amount of spare time and travel opportunity in order to get pictures like that. He also has a very professional name and website for such a young chap. The last time I saw something similar, it was from a suposedly 16 year old girl who had entered one of our online competitions with some fabulous pictures and we were all full of praise, until someone started to post links to the originals and it transpired that every one in her album was 'borrowed' from elsewhere.
However there are always some really talented young people and this guy is probably one of them, I know a couple of them myself and one in particular takes the most amazing Macro pictures that I could only dream of taking.

Here is another young man from the same mould.....Max is only 16

One of his albums was taken with a Canon 100mm F2.8 Macro lens. They come out at around £750 so I think these young men have some very generous support behind them.
Not taking anything away from their achievements so far in photography, they, and others like them, have an obvious talent for the media.

Gorgeous photos and not to diminish this young man's talent but I concur he must have some serious money behind him to be taking photos like this. You can' go from tropical fishes to bear country in an afternoon drive - they have however pretty neat photos AND any photos I see are always inspiring to me.

Yes H
I'm in Canada. Didn't realize my flag changed either. I do have the camera. Got soaked yesterday sitting in a water park with the twins when suddenly the water splurted an sputtered and came ON underneath the bench I'd chosen to sit on! Didn't realize the trap 'til too late!
It is a cool water park - sprays of water for the toddler set. The twins love it.
I MISSED the biggest hawk I've ever seen sitting on a fence down the street too - didn't have the camera as I was just pushing the pram. UGH!!! Hopefully will get some good shots though........
