Today started like yesterday, sunny with clear sky but now has clouded over.

The daffodils are all out around the city wall though.

Pretty day, nice little clouds and sunny, just opened the door and windows as its only 21 * Picked a lb of peas from last years growth and they are on the logfire slowcooking now. It will burn one log all day till I put more on when it gets cold at 5. We had the rain, the fava are full of flowers and tall, but none of this village have any to pick yet, people are moaning.

Our Daffs have not even shown themselves yet

My daffs are up about 6" but I think I saw a couple of them assembling the bark mulch into a boat shape so they can stay afloat. No idea why they're not rotting with all the wet although they are UP in a raised garden.

English day. Miserable grey damp cold (18 ) I am getting depression so the fire and the lights are all on. I will be making ice-cream later from banana and walnut milk. Must go now , off to the holiday pages - - -

It was OK here today. The sun came out for a big so I zipped out dumped the one concrete planter and followed MD's advice from probably this time last year (thank you MD) and dumped the dirt and lined the planter with heavy plastic. I then planted one of the $1.99 dracaenas I bought a week or so ago. Still have 1 more dracaena to go but it clouded over and started to drizzle so I'm maintaining status quo with the other 2 concrete planters 'til I get a better day.

Now it is overcast and drizzly.

Just got in from the pub, nice evening pleasant company, a very pleasant starlite night on the way home, but a bit chilly.

Somewhat bemused today to read in the morning papers that London has flooded, and from the Lake District upwards, they have minus temps and snow. Here its blue sky, sunny and cold.

oh and H... my Daffs have been out a week and are at full height

To be honest Robbo I do have some small ones that are out in a border, but as I have not been out in the garden much I had not noticed them. However the ones in the front garden are still growing, no flowers as yet.

Blah looking out there. Weather is doing absolutely nothing which, considering all the heavy and cold rain yesterday, is a good thing.

Very windy and showery, my big plastic washing bowl blew out from under the sink, round the corner, hit the steps and broke in half and ended up by the stable. weather.com says it will be sunny tomorrow, I am not holding my breath - - -

Nearly midnight here and it is unbelievably cold outside, they are saying -6 degrees in the morning and potentially some snow. I was planning to take Annie out tomorrow and I also have to pop in to see my dear old mum as my brother gave me a call, she has a birthday card for me although I doubt she even realises what day it is anymore bless her. I also need to be in for my new modem which will arrive by courier as I will be disconnected from my old server on Tuesday, so much do

High winds and rain. Here this morning its only 11 . BRRRRR and OK. North Portugal is having a horrible time, floods, families evacuated, mudslides, houses ruined, roads blocked, trainlines under water. Of course they wont have enough money to clean up as the lords of Portugal are giving 65 million to Syria "refugees".
