Hi all - finally made it back home safe and sound. Been sporadically checking on E4U but not really writing much. Am back now!
When I was gone they had a huge snow storm here. Almost 20" of snow falling in one night. After the snow came ice, the trees broke down and now the chipper trucks are coming to take away the debris AND there is LOTS. This entire street was lined on each side with flowering plums. Now, aside from the stumps there is maybe one tree that might squeak out one blossom. Haven't ever seen anything like this. Lots of trees just snapped in half, old rhodos completely down on the ground.
Checked my work and found out it was so bad the office was even closed for two days.......just my luck I missed that
Today is bright and sunny and you'd never know by looking at the street now there was snow just a few days ago.
Looking at our long range forecast it looks like we are in for a month of freezing weather and possible snow. Like I said in another post, we always get your weather about 4 weeks later or so it seems.
Anyway ........................ welcome back.
