What a brilliant bit of CGI video, at first glance I thought that the launch was for real, I wonder how long it will be before we cannot actually tell CGI from reality?
This was a wonderful achievement and I always wonder about all that bouncing around and was it just luck that it lands on the side that keeps the robot upright, or is there some sort of bias built in that ensures it lands that way up? they never seem to explain that.
I would like to see a similar animation to this one for the latest lander that used the ‘Sky-Crane’ to lower it to the surface, that would be amazing.
And would I go? ………… Er ……………………. No!
