Anybody reading any special books over this holiday season?
And/or is there any special movie that you're anticipating this holiday season?
I've been looking for something interesting to go to and there doesn't seem to be anything new on the horizon movie-wise that is going to happen nor have I got my eye on any up and coming Author that appeals.
Usually there is something special I put aside time to read or see but so far this year I'm not finding much of anything.

Have you read:
Claus (Legend of the Fat Man): A Science Fiction Holiday Adventure (Claus Series Book 1)
By Tony Bertauski
A slightly odd book but I found it amusing.

@BBLUX I haven't read those or even really heard of them but will add them to my list for Library searching. Appreciate the titles.
Right now I'm reading "The Sacred Sipher" which I've had for a while - bit of a mystery, demotic language/Rosetta stone and in todays world hailing from Ancient Egypt and the Middle East.

We bought the hard copy of Bodacious: The Shepherd Cat over with us & it is a delightful book which we are both reading
I heard about it because I follow the accounts on Twitter, there are 2 accounts which often feature short videos of life on the farm, they are Zwartbles Ireland@ZwartblesIE & Shepherd Cat@1CatShepherd.

Am almost finished "The Sacred Cipher" and will have a look see to what I can find for my Kindle to read tomorrow. Still haven't found any movie for the day so will probably end up channel surfing 'til I find something.

I normally use my Kindle, that's why Bodacious is so unusual for me. It is on Kindle as well at only 99p on Amazon UK at the moment.
I use BookBub for book ideas for Kindle as they send daily emails with suggestions for free or cheap books & you can choose the categories you are interested in. It is US based so you can probably get it LLL, may be worth a look if you don't use them already.

My favourite app is Overdrive. I do have the Kindle app and have downloaded a lot of books to it but usually end up paying a 'virtual' visit to the library via Overdrive.
