I actually read this on another Forum but it seems to be legit tip and I will try it so I thought I'd share it. I have a notion that some of us might be making frequent nighttime trips to the bathroom (Old age at its best kinda thing - not)
The human body can miraculously heal itself from cuts and wounds without our intervention. However, sometimes you may want to give your body a little help if you're in a hurry for a cure. Try these cool "body tricks" to quickly heal everything from a hiccup to a scratchy throat!
Keep One Eye Closed
This is a brilliant but simple trick! Try to keep one eye closed while going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. According to Dr. Mercola, exposure to bright light on the retina of the eye tricks our brains into thinking it's daytime, making it hard to fall asleep. So by keeping one eye closed for those midnight bathroom breaks, you can quickly readjust to the the darkness and fall asleep like a baby once the lights go out.
Absolutely with Grandad and Horus. Who needs a light? I know the way even in a strange place after a day or so. Anyway if I miss someone will clean up after me......Yes, I am joking!
Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
I didn't say it when I posted this but I try NOT to open my eyes at all and I never turn the bathroom light on as too bright and disturbing. I think I can find my way all around the house with my eyes shut even in the day time.
Usually Dr. Mercola has good insights but I think he missed the mark with this one

Just make sure you raise the seat and particularly the lid BEFORE you go to sleep
A great job of putting old clips together with the music. Hands down, Fred Astaire was a master dancer, but so was Gene Kelly and I think I saw Desi Arnez, Ann Miller, Ann Southern and I forget who...
