Oh, I'm so pleased to hear this news! Maybe she will feel like posting soon and telling us what happened. If you're reading, Jayway, take things easy and get well soon!
That is a relief, I was beginning to worry as to what had happened to our Jay
At least we know she is OK and back home again so hopefully we will get the lowdown in the next few days/weeks or whenever she feels fit enough to post, so for now just take things easy and get back on your feet again :gw:
HUGE THANKYOU TO EVERYONE. I made a mistake, trusted the doctor who told me my problem was a side effect from the heart drug he gave me. It wasnt, I must have been rotting inside for months which came to agony on Dec 3rd. Had an emergency op that night. Cant remember much of the next few days in the ICU and then into a private ward - was a difficult time. In the ambulance on the way to hospital I rang my friend, he came next morning and took Glory so I could relax. I cant have her back yet as I cant look after her till I get stronger. Still eating soup till next doc appt on 14th, but now its MY soup, very good . Sitting on my sofa preparing the veg and all my supplements as I cant stand up for too long yet. The weather has been great, I can sit out in the sun most days at my desk, reading and watching my animals. I have my net on again now and my brain is recovering from all the drugs they gave me in hospital. I have the list and its unbelievable ! Thankyou for all the good wishes, and yes I will find an alternative email or contact.
Oh this is wonderful to hear from you again Jay we were all very concerned about you. Thank goodness that Glory was taken care of, we all know how much you think of her so it must have worried you, hopefully you will soon be riding her again or at least getting to see her, that will cheer you up. You have not said what was wrong and of course that is your business, but hopefully it is something you have now overcome and are on the mend again, so keep eating the soup and take care, oh and a Happy New Year
Wow! That is good news to kick off the new year Jay. As H has said, we were concerned, not least because we had no way of finding how you were. Get well soon and here's hoping 2015 will be a good year for you. The Happiest of New Years.
Wonderful news Jayway a big thanks for letting us all know you are now on the mend, take it easy till your strenght grows & keep up with the soups, hopefully you'll be out & about soon with Glory :gw:
Welcome back! Good to know your health stuff has finally been resolved and you're on the mend. How awful to be rotting away and thinking it is one thing when actually it turns out it was something else all along. Not good and I hope whatever it was hadn't left any other damage. I know we have to trust our doctors (and I try) but I'm often always skeptical.
Good to know too that Glory was taken care of and is still doing ok. Am sure you'll be up and in the saddle in no time at all.
As you can read we all too did have a little discussion about what happens when we all can't reach each other. You'll have to make sure one of us has some good contact info for you so (God Forbid) something happens in future we can get info and hopefully provide help and support even if it is just in the guise of "Hope you're feeling better & Get Well Soon"!
Welcome back to the land of the living, Jayway! What you describe sounds horrendous, but hopefully now your doctor will be keeping a better eye on you and getting second opinions on your treatment! I hope it won't be too long before you're feeling the wind in your hair from Glory's back!
I know our Jayway has been off on holidays but am thinking she is long overdue to be back. Anybody got news? (She is probably sunning herself of a warm sunny beach somewhere!)
