Cadswallop - my NEW word for today. And it could be a 'load of'.........

Interesting one that LLL, and if it's the same word then we would spell it as CODSWALLOP with an 'O' and it's still a quite widely used word in the UK, but that could be a load of rubbish

Oppps - I misspelled my new word of the day and it IS CODSWALLOP. It is an O (and not an A) To my knowledge and to my hearing it is a word that isn't used here at all nowadays.

Oh it's used a lot here LLL. Our politicians are past masters at spouting a load of codswallop. But I thought it was an international form of 'political speak'. Talk for ages but actually say nothing of any meaning.
