My thoughts as well. I saw a man interviewed who had seen his home burned to the ground. Such a sad figure who had 'Lost Everything' and that means all but the clothes on his back. Devastating!

Fires are devastating. Saw them on TV and they seem relentless. Sometimes in the summer when it gets super dry we get huge fires here in the west. They're awful and with wind can spread so fast.

Thanks guys! When embers are blown by 100kph winds breaking through windows and fibro walls, there is no chance! At Dunalley in Tasmania, people had to wade out into the sea with babies and pets in their arms, flames crackling over their heads, and stood for hours waiting for rescue, meanwhile watching their homes burn to the ground. Tragic. And unimaginably brave people VOLUNTEER to go out in such extreme situations to save lives, properties and livestock! Total heroes!
