How good is your colour vision?

Post by Horus »

I just took this online test of my colour vision which after having two cateracts removed and new lens implants added, I thought it would not be very good. You have to move the coloured squares (by drag & drop) in shade order from the left to the right on each of the four lines to see if you can distinguish the subtle colour changes throughout the colour ranges. The colours at each end are fixed so you cannot move those and act as a guide to the two colours you are ranging between.

Take the test here:

I was amazed to get these perfect colour vision scores, this was my first attempt and with no cheating, it just goes to show how good our National Health Service is when it comes to eye care. :up

I really enjoyed doing that although all the way through I kept thinking I should be doing it in better light than just my computer screen and a dull desk lamp. However.... :) ...

Based on your information, below is how your score compares to those of others with similar demographic information.
Your score: 7
Gender: Female
Age range: 50-59
Best score for your gender and age range: 0
Highest score for your gender and age range: 1520
0 ( Perfect Color Acuity )99 ( Low Color Acuity )

I know my actual vision is deteriorating so maybe I just need people to write in coloured latters for me to be able to see clearer instead of buying new specs! ;)

Edit - I did take a screen shot but I wasn't able to load it the albums. I got this message and although I can read it, I don't understand it!

While uploading „FM 100 Hue Test.htm“ the following error occurred:

Or even in coloured letters Hepzi
Good result otherwise :up and it looks as if you were trying to upload something other than a .Jpeg type picture file.
