Here's question for the ladies.
In discussions with my (married)friends in Luxor, the subject of a Muslim man being allowed to take 4 wives often comes up in conversation.
The men seem to be all in favour and agreement with this and can indeed justify the practice in their own minds!
The wives accept their arguments with quiet and almost subdued resignation!
Well what about us women?
In my opinion, all men looking for other wives should be kept in a commune! We should be able to pick 4 a day...one for shopping, one for cooking, one for cleaning, and one for the bedroom!!!
If one doesn't "perform"to our standards, then we should be able to throw him back and pick another until we find the perfect combination!
Any views?Or am I just being too greedy?
Anyone for 4 husbands?

Re: Anyone for 4 husbands?
I can only speak for myself BUT the poor poor fellow who got ME is definitely getting a PRIZE
........IF he can tote and carry all I need toted and carried, if he can fix all I need fixed, if he can clean all I need cleaned, if he can drive me anywhere and everywhere I want to go when I want to go, purchase everything I need and want purchased as I want it purchased, if he could BBQ all meals and cook as I dictate and need along with all cleaning would be a rare fellow. I highly doubt 'my man' would have time for any other wife cause by the time he met all of my requirements I doubt he'd have energy to do anything else AND if he didn't mind to my every word - well - wouldn't his life become a living hell in VERY short order! I'd definitely be 'his Queen'
and boy o boy do I know how to act just like a Queen! And I guess if 'my husband' had any energy left for a sister wife - well - then I see it as my obligation to keep him busier. Guess he has too much FREE time and needs things to do.......FOR ME!
Ever heard of the "Ranson of Red Chief" - well - has been applied to me. Once you get me you probably don't have enough money to pay another guy to take me
I think after having me as a 'wife' I very much doubt my husband would want to have me or any other woman as a wife.........
Hmmmmmmm - wonder why I'm single?

If such a situation was forced on me, I would befriend the new wife but not allow my "husband" to touch me anymore..

I had to smile at ST idea of a 'pool' of guys to choose from,
however I have to say that I fit LLL's decription of the perfect husband
I am also extremely modest!

Re: Anyone for 4 husbands?
I've often read that Arab men when in the courting stage often refer to their prospective wives as their Queen - well - personally I'd take that very literally and 'for sure' they'd get one. I highly doubt 4 husbands would be able to meet all my needs as I kinda find that my needs might grow exponentially as the 'resources' come available. Am sure each husband would be shoving me off onto the other........NO it's your turn to go and get her list, NO it is YOUR turn to go and talk to her I did the laundry, took out the trash, fixed the chair, watered the garden last time etc etc etc. Matter of fact I'd demand MORE husbands to allow the exhausted four a chance to sleep and catch up their energy
On a serious note - my reaction would be exactly the same as Miris IF I had no option and I'd demand my own living situation......oh.......seriously if my 'husband' took another wife then it would end everything on my acquiring knowledge of same.
