Really bad day yesterday in Luxor, im still cleaning my flat most parts of Egypt were hit, planes from the UK were diverted to Hurghada and Marsa Alam.
Hepzibah on Luxor4u wrote:All the UK/Luxor flights were disrupted. Those due to arrive at Luxor had to land in Hurghada and Marsa Alam. Some finally made it to Luxor from about 7-30 pm. One Manchester flight left Luxor but some Thomson and TC flights were rescheduled and passengers taken to hotels.
Easyjet came in around 8pm and left the tarmac again at 9pm LGW bound but had to go via Rome to pick up relief crew because of flying times. Flight arrived LGW at 3am.

I always marvelled at how 'muddy' the wash water looked when I did my clothes there and it always would amuse me to watch the men washing their entire cars with a small pail of water.........will gladly send you some of the train we're getting here. It'll wash everything clean in a flash!

Sure like the 'smilies' and/or 'emoticons'...........
And I would love to trade some of the trainy RAIN we're getting here for some of that Luxor sunshine.

I've been talking today to a chap from Cameron Balloons who has just come back from visiting a couple of companies in Luxor.
He said the there were a surprising number of visitors in Luxor, mostly...

I watch these guys put up and take down the 'on the beach' massage tents daily. What always makes me smile is that they really need a ladder to get to the high spots but lacking a ladder two on the...
