First Day of Fall

Post by LovelyLadyLux »

I really don't know where 2011 went. I know that 2010 flew past me too and here it is now FALL! Can't believe the time has flown past so quickly. I need something to slow down time and eek it out more. Will wake up tomorrow and it is going to be 2012.....

  I have a theory for that LLL :) You see when you were 5 years old, the time between special events like Christmas, Birthdays and Holidays seemed to be for ever in comming around again, but that was because your whole life experience was only 5 years of elapsed time, so another year was 20% of your life experience. However when you are say 60 years old, then another year is less than 2% of your life experience and therefore seems to be a smaller part of your life and the gaps seems shorter between each yearly event. Well thats my take on it at least. ;)

Staying in bed all day then, are we, LLL??? :)))

Seriously though, I remember when 'elders' used to say 'the older you get the quicker time goes' didn't seem to be any sense then but certainly does now. :(

Thanks for the reminder though. Fall, or autumn is fast approaching and I must catch some of those autumn colours this year. Sheffield Park is a favourite place so must watch the 'leaf colour updates' that we usually get to let us know how far the leaves have changed.

Lovely time of year. :)

An unrealised dream has been to go to New England in the fall........
