There are sales all the time in Cairo
If it say's 75% off in the window, it just means they added 75% onto the price and couldn't sell it so it's back at it's MRP.

Also just found out the mark up on the pushchair we want is 100%-not very happy at the mo

Some of the sale stuff has been good this year.
Just curious - but was the marked up pushchair in Mothercare?? Just asking because I've seen some shocking markups in there, generally double price on most things.
Got loads of stuff out of the sales up here - just annoyed with myself that I bought a load of stuff before the sales started.
Think the next sales are about March (or is it April?)

Pushchair in Cairo

Lost in Translation are you thinking of pushing a push chair round Cairo??? If so good luck! I only bothered with a push chair on one trip and managed to completely wreck the wheels banging it up and down the enormous kerbs, dragging it along dusty pot holed streets. And my son always ended up filthy as all the dust from the street got all over him! After that I just copied off my Egyptian relatives and carried my children round! You don't see many push chairs in Egypt and after my own experience I now know why. And my final warning, crossing the road in Cairo with a push chair is very very scary! Bad enough when you have to take your own life into your hands and run across but pushing your child out into the road in front of you is definitely not something I would try again!!!
