Flu Shots

When I was in the pharmacy yesterday getting my dental prescriptions filled I queried when the flu shots would be arriving as this time last year I'd already had one. The technician didn't know yet for this year but figured within the next month or so which strikes me as awfully late.
Are you getting into flu shot season there? And has anybody heard any info on the immunizations being late this year?

@Grandad Ok - good to know you guys are 3 weeks out. I'll keep checking our local pharmacy here cause the one I use is in the main Grocery Store so I'm there at least once a week.

I was working in my garden this lunch time and my two neighbours pulled into their drive. "We have just been for our Flu Jabs" they said, so I asked which doctor they were with and they told me. It was the same practice as my own and they told me it was the 'Walk in day' for the flu shots with the next one being sometime next month. I immediately got myself changed and called into my doctors practice which is one of about six located together in the same building. As I walked up to the reception I was asked if I was here for the flu jab and ushered straight away into a lovely nurse who after a brief chat gave me the jab, I was back home again within 45 minutes of my neighbours chat, all done and dusted.
Edit: I did make the remark as to were they getting it all done early because of Brexit and she just smiled.

I did have a text from the doctors surgery last week suggesting that we get flu vacs. However, we do have more difficulty getting to the surgery so it is easier when we do the shopping at the in store pharmacy.
