Today would have been my Mother's 100th birthday, wish she was here with us to help celebrate , the below tapestry she did when the tender age of sweet 16, I'm looking after for now & hopefully one of my girls will after

That was so very nice of you to have me in your thoughts on this day Kiya, it was a bit of cheer on this sad anniversary for me. I cannot believe it is now 5 years since my dear wife passed away, but now things are starting to become less painful as each year passes, it is always a sad day for me so I try to fill it with good things and to keeping busy. That tapestry is lovely Kiya and like you I also have one that my wife made and it is now professionally framed and hangs above my bed. Like your own mum you will always miss her and no doubt always remember her with great love and affection and that is something that never dies.

I always remember your dear wife & you Horus on this day being the same as my Mam's birthday

I've been meaning for a while now to get a nicer frame for the tapestry but on the back my Mam signed it with her name & date she did it so don't want to lose that.

Being the only daughter with 5 brothers I was very close to her & not a day has passed without thinking of her, it does hurt but overtime it gets easier

Thinking of you mate. Five years eh! You have done so well and the pain will ease as time passes....
