Urgent request! I'm about to try out your leek, celery and potato soup and I've noticed you haven't used any onions in it. Is this correct please?

Thanks Horus, but too late mate!

Made, blended and eaten for lunch! DH has just gone back for his 3rd helping - so I think that one comes as 'HIGHLY RECOMMENDED'!

Glad you enjoyed it RS

but like most of the stuff I make it is usually very flexible so if you added onion and it was tasty, then fine
I remade my Moroccan Chickpea soup yesterday (another very easy one) but I decided to add just a sprinkle of dried Chillies this time and it really gave it an additional lift
Did you find the recipe easy to follow and worked out OK?

It was very easy to follow and worked out fine, thank you! Since I was ill at Christmas, I still can't eat much so a hot soup fills the void nicely. So much better than a tin or a packet too! I am cooking quite a lot lately but DH is usually the grateful recipient.

I made a gorgeous golden syrup and ginger steamed pudding last week, which he devoured in double quick time, but when he came in from shopping today, he had a bag of vanilla doughnuts with him, so I will indulge in one shortly.

Just waiting for the soup to go down!

Not that you need it RS at your weight, but it is very slimming as it has very few calories

(it will help counter DH's Doughnuts

)
