On another forum that I occasionally contribute to, they have an ongoing caption competition where a member puts up a picture and suggested captions are then added by other members. After a poll, the winner then contributes the next picture.
This was the last picture

And I won with the caption
And I said to him, "Keep your big beak out of my business"
I then posted this picture thinking it would draw some humorous captions of what the carp might be saying

So far it is a bit of a lead balloon

and gone down with very few responses.
SO, I invite you guys to add your own captions which I am sure will be more humorous than those from a mostly American membership. I do find that humour across the pond varies quite a lot from our own.

Perhaps it is just my sense of humour but I posted it because I thought the facial expression of the carp would prompt some cheeky captions.
'Do my teeth need flossing?'
'Where's my lippy?'
'Give us a kiss!'
'Stop giving me the fish eye'
'I refuse to be served with chips'

Perhaps people were concerned for the welfare of the fish and not inclined to make humorous captions. I could assure anyone that the chap who caught it treated it with total respect. He had caught that one before and only kept it out of water long enough to weigh it (and for me to get a few snaps) and then put it back, lowering it slowly in a keep net until he was sure it was unstressed. Here he is lowering it into the water in the net.

You know - in today's world of ULTRA PC about every last lovin' thing is hard to say what people feel comfortable responding to anymore.
Personally I see nothing wrong with the photo and/or with catching a fish at all however it is so hard to know what is affecting people. Also, personally, I believe people nowadays are very hesitant to comment on much of anything anymore out of fear of suddenly raising the ire of some fringe group who will then attack mercilessly over the most inane whatever. These attacks all basically public can range from the bizarre to the extreme but have the potential to ruin a reputation and cause any amount of grief, angst, upset.
Been thinking about this lately and you know - I think Trump got voted in partly because normal regular people would rather be associated with him than with the uber Left PC crazies.
Lastly in the USA right now everybody is getting ready to get the kids "back to school"!! The pre-occupation with getting everybody prepped and situated for School re-opening is #1 right now in the minds of most in the USA. If you're not trying to cram in one last holiday you're at the local State Fair (all farm animal shows, fruit & veggie exhibits, fun rides) happening on your town. Ours here is this weekend and the competition to have the flashiest horse/cow/goat/sheep/chicken/rabbit in mega mega categories or the largest radish, most lush lettuce or reddest tomato is the highlight of the season. THEN comes the weighing in of who has grown the largest pumpkin!
