Fox Watch update

Early in the year we had six foxes, 3 pairs, then they dispersed leaving just one pair that had two cubs but we didn't see them until they were nearly full grown.
We now seem to have a pair that might stay together and produce cubs next year. They are probably cubs from this year nearing maturity. I doubt if they are related because male cubs are driven off by this time. Here are three clips from the last two evenings showing them independently and finally the vixen chasing off the dog.

Geez the vixen definitely came out with a vengeance! They're all looking really good. Nice coats.

Monday 10 October 2016.
If you have foxes in your area and you also have cats, don't worry about the cats being out at night

Quite so Kiya. I have heard it said that a fox will take a cat but probably not an adult, a kitten maybe.
Talking cats, my youngest grandson (7) has just got two kittens. Hopefully this video will play.

That is strange, I can see it? Ah, just checked again, I thought it was on Utube but it is only on FB so only their friends will see it. Sorry, it is quite amusing and they have only had the kittens a couple of days and they have settled in so well...
