According to the Met Office 1st of September is the first day of Autumn (in their calendar at least)
No sign of any leaves changing yet and my little patio is still looking colourful, albeit in just a few pots.
How are your gardens, patios, or even window boxes looking right now folks. Here are a few snaps of some of my pots.

These two are out front

And during my sabatical break

I bought a new bird feeding station...
What is happening in your gardens???

Total neglect in mine this year Grandad I'm ashamed to say, some annual stuff is brightening it up a little plus lots of self seeded nasturtiums have added some colour.

Summer didn't much happen here. Mostly it was cold with a few torrential rains interspersed with a few days of sun. Already the leaves on the trees have turned yellow, the geese have been massing an migrating for almost a month now. Fall arrived mid-August and 'soon' we'll be into winter!

Daft 'innit! Mid September and temperatures forecast up to low 30's today. And even up your way H they should be high 20's. Let it keep coming I say.

Well yesterday afternoon I was driving home through a deluge, thunder and lightning and water up to my hubcaps. There was so much water that it was gushing up through the road drains, so much for the lovely weather
