Given the recent news story re: Panama Papers (which I haven't really been following closely) do you think there should be secrecy in finances? For as long as I can remember Switzerland lead the charge in banking with secret numbered bank accounts that could hide any amount of money however this allowed for lots of people to hide millions and bizzillions and therefore avoid paying taxes. Should one be able to hide finances or should all banking be transparent? Should the penalties for establishing shell companies be penalized heavily?

The Panama Papers topic is on all the news here. Just heard a stat that the USA is #3 in terms of worst countries for allowing shell companies.
