There is a new BBC documentary, Pompeii: Life Before Death, which airs on 3 March and hosted by the historian Mary Beard. Not sure what time, so you need to look it up, but I do like her presentation technique, for an old dear she does use some colourful descriptive language at times

Hmmm - I Googled it to see if I could find it here but no cigar although it does show it is on BBC1
