It won't be your graphics card Jay that needs replacing, more than likely it is either something in a future version of Chrome (or a planned update) that is not compatible with XP as the Operating System. It could also be something to do with the built in virus protection that may make it vulnerable if used with XP so they protect themselves from that vulnerability by not allowing it to work under that O/S.

Before, when I tried your free upgrade, it told me I needed a new graphics card. XP is the last name of the list on my games, so they wont play if I get windows 10, I suppose. I am not happy.

Ah, that is a different matter altogether as some modern stuff and operating systems cannot run with some lower spec hardware and graphics cards are often one of the problems. You don’t have to go for Windows 10, you could just try putting Windows 7 on your machine, that is still supported and is a stable O/S.

Thankyou Horus. You see, I sleep 6 hours exactly at night, the light is not good and I cant keep buying books so the computer games off line keep my brain going. Have you ever looked at these games » Settlers 3, Stronghold, Tropico, Sid Meiers Alpha Centauri ??? I dont like new games with no purpose.

I had an example of a compatibility problem today. I have a Greetings Card designer program that ran happily on XP. I tried to load it today and got the message that it is 16 bit and will not run on Win10. I always understood that OS changes were backwards compatible. Not any more.
