I have occasionally seen the term 'GoPro' and 'Hero 3, Hero 4 etc' but never known what they refer to. Curiosity got the better of me and I checked out that GoPro is actually a small high quality video camera suitable for fixing to vehicles or about the person when doing sport or outdoor activities. Although tempted, I think i will resist buying yet another camera (except of course my Chrissie Pressie trail camera

) but have a look at these spectacular examples on youtube. Set to full screen to get the full WOW!

I have looked at the Go-Pro cameras before Grandad and they are certainly very impressive as well as being expensive. I had thought of getting one to fit my Quadcopter as I have seen them in action in this way and the images are amazing, however the thought of several hundred pounds Sterling heading off into the blue has usually detered me.

I don't know how much a GoPro weighs H but would your little aircraft lift one? They are expensive and sadly their US dollar price is about the same as our UK pound price. Why is everything cheaper in the States?

My little toy would not be powerful enough Grandad, but many of the more expensive ones can do it easily

I've heard the phrase GoPro but didn't know what it was so I haven't paid much attention to it however judging from your video it is definitely one pretty good super duper camera. Definitely the video has some super neat shots! Not too sure I'm techie enough to know how to operate it though.

In most cases LLL you just stick it on a biking helmet or similar and switch it on.

No, no bike. I called and not my bike in all the other loot. BUT I have now bought another OLD bike. Weather too bad for me to use it so it is in the shed but I've now got TWO more heavy cable locks and another cheapie old bike.

Locks cost more than the bike then?

Actually now that you mention it and it has now crossed my mind - yeah the locks have cost more than the BIKE! 12mm cable with a combo lock x2. All to lock up another old Mountain bike. I have no particular penchant for Mountain bikes and don't want to imply I'm riding them around mountains - mostly they have wide tires and shock absorbers which makes for a slightly softer ride (I think). Only my bum knows for sure and it isn't talking
