NO CAMERA FOR A WEEK!

Not that I've been taking much photos recently with the horrible weather, we up here seem to be having all four seasons everyday for the past month or so.........so weird!

Anyways my camera is in the trusted hands of Roy & guess where he is off to for this next weekend............Grandad will guess right away.... I think, tomorrow first thing he leaves from here - Aberdeen - Heathrow - Canada for the Montreal F1 race.

Did he ask me ? No :( .............he is hoping to get some great pics for canvases when he's home to decorate his place & just maybe if they decide might have a day travel to see Niagara Falls..........here's hoping :)

Some consolation is that the BBC are carrying it all live, practice, qualifying and the race :up

What's up with the weather Kiya? Not bad for October, is it? ;)

That means you can just borrow the car without permission then ;)

Yes Grandad, thank goodness I'm seeing it on telly this time, fed up with only highlights especially when I hear on the radio who had won before I watch :(

October more like November ;)

And oh yes Horus....where is my licence

I agree with Horus - borrow my camera means that I can then 'borrow' something equally valuable belonging to you! ;)

Although I do not drive...............I can go to his house to check things are ok & yes relax on his beautiful new 9 seater leather suite & watch the F1 on the massive screen on his wall :)

And...........oh yes I could check his booze cupboard too..........ah bliss ;)

Well I might not actually 'take' his car but when Roy was in Quebec I'd let drop that "my drive down the coast in the car was fantastic and I'll need to my own licence" or some such and then I'd quickly end the call! ;) Let him wonder for awhile if I actually WAS out driving about the countryside! ;)

My story would be a good one cause I'd pre-think the details! :P :P Course the TV and drink cabinet sound pretty tempting too.

You could always leave left over curry and pizza takeaway cartons all over his coffee table.

Does Roy - "Parlez-vous?"

Montreal is a really fascinating city but some people have reported it to be very 'cold' as us Anglophones can be shunned by the Francophones.

 I wouldn't think so , maybe just............yes , no and beer ;)

He travelled alone to meet up with one of friends who works for the same company as Roy but, based at St. Johns, not sure how close that is to the F1 race grounds.

Hey Grandad, I know you'd be watching the F1, Roy looks though he is in a good position stand right on the hairpin bend with the big screen in front also....lucky lad ;)

Great position to watch the qualies Kiya. And also for some good shots approaching and side on as they reduce speed for the hairpin. Hope he has the camera set to continuous multi frame and you told him how to pan with the subject, and set a high shutter speed. You should have gone with him as artistic director. ;)

It is 6pm for us today so I shall be watching. Go Lewis and Jenson :up
