Too right LLL. I can already imagine the manufacturers using this to promote their product. Which would make then as ignorant as the cleaner. :(

But if the beard was that fragile, I am surprised that it avoided damage since it was discovered. And when I have seen the mask it is inside a secure glass cabinet, so I am even more surprised that some 'cleaner' would have access to such an important relic. But as you say H, 'You couldn't make it up', only in Egypt......

Being in an enclosed glass case it would hardly get any dust in it & I don't think for a minute it would be the daily cleaners handling such an item :)

I had the same thought as Kiya. You have a priceless relic and you're letting cleaners have at it with Pledge on a rag?

When I saw it, the mask, it was also enclosed and encased and no way could anything have bumped it or thumped it.
