When I try to open the Luxor4u site I am getting 'Error 500'. Anyone know why - or what this error number refers to, please?

Error 500 Internal server error

The Web server (running the Web Site) encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request by the client (e.g. your Web browser) for access to the requested URL.

This is a 'catch-all' error generated by the Web server. Basically something has gone wrong, but the server can not be more specific about the error condition in its response to the client.

The engineers have been informed and hopefully they will fix it soon

BTW - The hosting company must be having major issues, all forums are on different servers and all are experiencing problems

I uploaded the database to another server, some posts will be missing from the time I backed-up the database to uploading to the new server, about 2 hours from this post. your posts will be on the old database.

I just finished making 2 NEW threads and answering all 3 threads already ON E4U and then suddenly I had to Log in again and NOTHinG took! My 2 new Threads are GONE (about Cyber Monday and Snow) and so are my answers even though L4U acted like normal and took everything (I thought).........

So - haven't really been able to get onto L4U or E4U since Friday and not looking any better now

I hit EDIT to come back on here now ...... COZ ...... I just tried to reply to the Thread "Egyptians and Handicrafts" (can't remember the exact title) but am now getting a message that this thread does NOT EXIST!

Methinks all is not kosher in the cyberland of E4U. Must be the evil gremlins and faeries messing with the cyber wires...........

Anyway - ???? Never had that auto message before .......... ???

Seems better today, had a post go missing and asked to log in again, but otherwise fingers crossed.
