Egypt's President-elect Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi will be sworn in in front of the High Constitutional Court on Sunday 8 May, Vice-President of the Constitutional Court Mohamed El-Shenawy told Al-Ahram's Arabic News website.
The inauguration will be broadcasted live, according to El-Shenawy, and will include a speech by the Constitutional Court's charge d'affaires Anwar Rashad El-Asy and the court's spokesman Maher Samy.
Egypt's Presidential Elections Commission (PEC) announced on Tuesday that El-Sisi is Egypt's new president, confirming that he won 23.78 million votes (96.91 percent) in the 26-28 May election.
El-Sisi's only rival, leftist Hamdeen Sabahi, took a modest 757,511 of the votes (3.9 percent), less than the amount of spoilt votes, which reached 1,040,608 ballots. The turnout was 47.5 percent.
Egypt has been run by head of the High Constitutional Court interim President Adly Mansour since the ouster of president Mohamed Morsi last July following mass protests.

I think it should say 8th June (unless it's going to be 8th May 2015)
