Another nail in the coffin

Well as soon as the voting starts in Egypt on the new constitution the news coverage for today starts off by reporting a bomb having exploded in Cairo, no doubt it was another of the increasing MB protests, protests that can only get worse.

So now you can add a few more countries that will either re-inpose or add a "do not travel" warning for Egypt and so the cycle begins all over again, is it any wonder that tourists are staying away?

Unfortunately there seem to be enough or sufficient MB supporters who are miffed (putting it mildly) that their leader is jailed who have a bent to wreak havoc until they get their way, get caught, make a statement, follow orders or whatever it is they think they're accomplishing by way of setting off bombs and playing the terrorist.
As long as these people are around I doubt tourism is coming ahead. Unfortunately they'll bring the country down and hurt way more innocents than they will ever help even IF the MB turned into a viable political party.
Yup - just another nail in the coffin.

Seems that things (touch wood) have ben quieter lately in Egypt. At least I haven't heard of any more random bombs going off.

Yes things do seem to be calmer although it may just be that recent world events have knocked it off the front pages.
