My attempt's again at taking moon pictures.......my first in ages.

Kiya they are excellent. I find the moon a very difficult subject, you have got the crators very sharp. What settings did you use and did you use any filters? Must have used a tripod?

Thank you They're not as sharp & crisp as I would like them but, I am pleased with them, I think it's the first time I've got the crators so clear.

Yes I did use my tripod with the long lens.......no filters.

I tried many different settings & chose the best I have & deleted the rest before uploading here.

Very good images Kiya it is always difficult getting good moon shots due to the brightness in a dark sky, you will often find that the clarity of the craters depends a lot on how clear the atmosphere is at the time you take them, I must give my new camera a go as I have not tried a moon picture with it yet.

I think Grandad was adding his own version of MOON shots to your thread Kiya! I think he was adding one and a half FULL MOONs

And yes Grandad the craters are relatively sharp!
