Well here it is, can't say I'm really pleased as it is a touched burned around the edges, but, still is delicious, maybe I shouldn't have pre heated the oven as I did notice it more or less burn so quickly!

That looks tasty Kiya, I will try that one day :eat
Anything with lots of sugar/honey is going to burn quickly, if it were me I would stay with a pre-heated oven, but knock the cooking heat back to Gas Mark 2 and bake for longer.

Horus ...thanks for that tip :) I didn't know/realise it would burn so quickly, I shall remember in future about lots of sugar/honey.

Grandad no soggy bottoms so far, .....a slice on it's way to you ;)

Looks wonderful! Don't worry about the black bits - I raised two children to adulthood and they survived LOTS of black bits. Adds fibre and variety to the diet! :) :) :)

Hunger is a great motivator for a child. Waste not want not was the motto in my family and I really never did want a child in India to starve!

I'm not a cook at all and mostly only aim for edible ;) Anything over and above edible is a bonus :eat :eat
