Finally today Nov 6th has arrived. The fate of the USA will be decided AND MOST IMPORTANT - all the advertisements will be ended (I surely HOPE all the touting will end)

So far today TV is full of ads showing long lines of people lined up waiting to vote. Going to be a tight race - most polls showing almost 50/50 between Romney and Obama.

Been catching bits and pieces of the election - TV is on but I'm doing the finally run through the house as today is final moving day. Seems they're all pretty close - hard to say who is going to be the final victor.

This election is bringing out lots of strong feelings - could be an election that ends up really dividing the country depending on who actually gets into office.

I reckon your country will finish up like our's with a sizeable majority not having voted for the government they actually get.

Yeah - today is my last official day of being in the USA. Work is done, highly doubt they'll ever entice me back - maybe I'd do some consulting. I'll probably be up and down from Canada. Got friends here and it is always lots cheaper flying out of airports here than in Canada.........so today IS pretty final (for now )

AND - seems the Democrats are now back for another 4 yrs. Heard on the news that apparently lots of big American Companies are laying off substantial numbers of workers as a reaction to Obama and the Democrats getting in.
