Since many people access forums and other network sites on their mobiles if they are away from home, ive added the mobile version now through the Tapatalk app.

This app gives a mobile version of the site which is easy to read and use on smartphones, it also sends notifications for topics your subscribed to and also private messages.

Once Tapatalk is installed on your smartphone/tablet just run the app and search for Egypt4u forums, once logged in it will save it in your accounts on the app for easy access next time you want to read the forums.

For people with smartphones/tablets not wanting a mobile version of the forum then just continue to use the site through your smartphone/tablets browser as normal.

Just checked it out on the tablet...Do you really have to download the App then the three colour Apps to get full colour images??????????

No grandad dont use the app on a tablet, the normal forum view should be ok on there, The app is really for smartphones that have small screens.

It is just that I have fewer functions on here (the tablet) and thought that the App might open up more such as 'smileys etc.
But most of the time I am on the PC so no probs really :-)

KEEFY, I must have been using something like that App because by accident I now have the same screen as I get on th PC.......Inc Smileys

I added a script to the forum that detected mobiles and gave a list type forum, however this also changed the forum to the list style on tablets/pads which most people dont want cause their tablets/pads are big enough to see the full forum, so I removed the script.

So I added the forums to Tapatalk (app) so it gives people the choice to choose what is best for their device.
