If you were brainstorming as a high level executive in an ad agency - what would your contribution be???

The boss of a Madison Avenue advertising agency called a spontaneous staff meeting in the middle of a particularly stressful week. (This is one pretty sharp boss!) When everyone gathered, the boss, who understood the benefits of having fun, told the burnt out staff the purpose of the meeting was to have a quick contest. The theme: Viagra advertising slogans.The only rule was they had to use past ad slogans, originally written for other products that captured the essence of Viagra. Slight variations were acceptable.

About 7 minutes later, they turned in
their suggestions and created a Top 10 List.. With all the laughter and camaraderie, the rest of the week went very well for everyone! The top 10 were:

10. Viagra, Whaazzzz up!

9. Viagra, The quicker pecker picker upper.

8. Viagra, like a rock!

7. Viagra, When it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight.

6. Viagra, Be all that you can be.

5. Viagra, Reach out and touch someone.

4. Viagra, Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman.

3. Viagra, Home of the whopper!

2. Viagra, We bring good things to Life!


And the unanimous number one slogan:
1. This is your peepee... This is your peepee on drugs.

Sorry, No1, is lost on me (maybe as being Aussie?). The others are very clever.

I'm afraid its the same for me, although I get the pee-pee bit I don't understand the slogan that goes with it, all the others are clear enough though.

'Whaazzzz up!' I think was a 'chatch phrase' for someone but I've no idea who!

I always thought peepee was weewee!

My suggestion: Viagra - It's what your Mates are for!

Yes the "Waaaaazup" phrase is from a beer advertisement.

Heres mine: "Take Viagra and become an upstanding member of the community"

I thought the 'Whaazzzz up!' was just a play on Bugs Bunnies catch phrase 'Whats up Doc?' with the emphasis on the 'up'

I like the Peepee one and can imagine the 'Before and After' add (They would publish in Amsterdam no doubt)

As an aside, I saw on an antiques program yesterday an item in the form of a small pill box with the word Viagra on the lid. The contestant bought it for £5 and sold at auction for £35 and the bidding 'kept going up'

Viagra - for lifes little ups and downs.

Viagra - 'Because I'm worth it!'

Viagra - To put the VaVaVroom back into your life!

I get what pee-pee is, of course, but what was the original product being advertised? Not an ad. I've seen down here, but then I don't watch much TV.
