Ive moved the forum database to a new server today to see if it solves the problem of it been rather slow compared to the other forums. Ive also lowered the security setting to see if this helps in some people having problems getting logged out.

If the slowness continues, I will just move the whole site to a different server.

It certainly seems much quicker, Keefy, and easier to log in!

It certainly lost a few posts that I made earlier two for Kiya and two to yourself asking what the "this board is currently disabled" message was all about even though I could read threads and still post replies into them, unfortunately they have all now gone missing. so I suppose that was my answer bloody servers

I disabled the board and made a backup of the database then uploaded the backup to the new server, that's why you posts are not showing, it would have gone to the old server.

It is all quicker here too

Seems to be quicker here for me too. I haven't had as much difficulty lately logging in as getting the Internal Server Error. Good work Keefy!

I have been struggling all morning with this site, so slow that it is dropping out all the time. I left Keefy a message over on the Blue and had to shut down my PC and try again with this post as the last one just hung. It is only on this site all others I use are OK.

EDIT: strange but it seems to be running better now?

Same with me, only come back in now & seemed to be faster again

There seems to be a problem with the domain server today (not the database) all seems ok now, I will keep an eye on it over the next week to see if we encounter any more problems, if we do I will move the domain server.

I've been having the same problems as Horus and Kiya this afternoon! Yesterday it was zipping along too!
