Springing Ahead

Tonight is the night we 'spring ahead' by one hour so that we get longer lighter days. Whilst I don't mind the fall behind cause I can sleep in one hour later each morning and I can adjust really quite easily I'm not as keen on the having to get up an hour early. :( :(

I usually set my clocks ahead throughout Saturday so that I can gently ease my way into this new schedule. I find it amazing too how quickly my brain automatically accepts whatever time my eyes see.

It's one of the few perks of retirement, LLL! You don't have to worry overmuch about over sleeping! :D

I have to confess that the wall clock in my kitchen is already an hour ahead because I failed to adjust it. It gives visitors a fright. "Oh goodness is that the time already" :ni: . It depends on how welcome they are as to whether I confess or not. Our clocks don't spring forward until the end of the month by which time I should be fully synchronised again.

I try all weekend to get my world in sync before Monday. I hate having to get up early on Monday.

I can't WAIT RubySlippers to be retired. Am almost counting down the days.......
