For a light lunch snack one of my favourites is bruschetta. Thin slices of white bread with dices of tomato, extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic and basil. This time (for valentines) I added some parmesan cheese and a good bottle of wine. HAPPY valentines everybody!! Image

Ha ha that's easy Mirri, just have a romantic setting for your main character .......... who is a poor Mexican chillie chef ............ working in the Bronx in New York and he is trying to impress his secret love ............... who is a food critic for an American national newspaper. So he woos her by preparing exotic meals ........ and you describe the recipes that he dreams up to impress her, but ............ her mother is really an illegal immigrant and ..................... the smell of Chillies reminds her of when she had to swim across the Rio Grande clutching her young daughter .............................. the future food critic! ;)
