An investigation on a 2200 year old mummy has shown that he suffered from prostate cancer, a disease that was always assumed to be the result of modern living.

Really interesting. I wonder if scientists are able to actually 'see' the virus? Am wondering this cause if they could I'd love to know if the cancer virus was the same back then as it is now or if the actual virus has modified/mutated etc.

Don't know for sure, but I suppose it does give them a better insight into how long these diseases have been with us, rather than assuming that everything is a product of modern living.
