A Merry Christmas to you all

Well folks it’s that time of year again and I hope you all had a good 2011 :) I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, OK I know that not everyone celebrates Christmas and there are other religions in the world, but as I do not intend to conform to political correctness it is the only greeting I will use as it is what I grew up with and hopefully it will be accepted in the spirit it is given to wish everyone all the best for the coming year.

I have always loved the little cards that my children or grandchildren made as they are so personal and show an effort on their part. So as many of you join in on our photography and Photoshop threads, here is a card I made especially for you all, done entirely in Photoshop.

Have a healthy and prosperous 2012

That's a lovely card Horus! :D

Here's my card for you all. I took the base photo of the church in the Spanish village where our house is. Two little Santas are our teddy bears who travel around the world with us. Added & painted the wintery effects in Photoshop.

Wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Very Happy Holidays! x;)

Well H, I had an appointment at the hospital to see the eye specialist. He is Indian and on leaving I said 'I don't suppose you celebrate Christmas but seasons greetings to you and your family'

His reply with a smile 'Everyone celbrates Christmas' so I guess it is not always what your religion is but more where you happen to be when traditional events are celebrated......

I really like that attitude. :)

Neato cards H and Silvermagpie - am really jealous of your photoshop talents. H started to give us all lessons and promptly my laptop broke and I had to get a new one. I keep trying to get back to them but - no cigar. Been rushed off my feet lately with family stuff and work is going full steam ahead but I 'swear' real soon I'm going to sit down and learn how to do what you guys do........ It is sooooooo lovely!!!!

Ohhhhhhh Silvermagpie I, for sure, hope it will be my New Years Resolution. Lots of stuff happening in LLL land these days and I seem to be run off my feet on several fronts. Am going to try cause I really want to show off my photos ;) come next year AND I've been researching what Grandad has put me onto which is getting your prints put onto canvas. Want to be able to perfect a few of my own photos and hang 'em on the wall. Defnitely getting into Photo editing is going to do this for me......

Right now I found this by way of a better [shadow=yellow][face=Arial]MERRY CHRISTMAS [/face][/shadow]to ALL!!

Shouldn't that read "I wonder if Grandad will let him play with some of his toys"? and by 'his' toys, I mean your Grandsons. ;)

Lovely cards, you clever trousers!

What I hope and pray for: Peace and prosperity for Egypt as soon as possible.

What I know I'm getting: A whole day with my new (almost 1 month old) nephew! That's all I want and need; the best present EVER! :cheer:

What I wish for all on L4u/E4u/RS4u: A safe, joyous Christmas and to remember the reason for the season!

One more fancy Christmas display! :) :) :)

This is cool, it looks like the house is jumping.
As the story goes, the guy that owns this house lives north of Cincinnati ,
Ohio. Police were constantly being called for traffic jams and accidents in the
neighborhood so they asked him to shut it down during certain hours. Instead
he started charging by car load to pay off duty police to be there.. The
guy is supposedly a real computer GEEK Best Christmas Lights Display
