GREAT PHOTOBOOK OFFER

Hope I am not breaking any rules Keefy but I think this is worth a mention.

The Daily Mail is offering a 20 page hardback 11 x 8 photobook for just the postage of £2.07. One needs to collect 5 of 8 tokens to be published from today over the next week. You send them off and receive a code by email to use when you design and order your book.

11 x 8 landscape is a very nice size and each page can have up to 13 images if you really want to pack them in. Personally I will just select 20 favourites and have them printed full page.

I thought it looks like a very inexpensive way of getting some of your pictures bound into a book or create a very nice family album...........

Was just looking through many of our local stores that offer lots by way of photo books etc. and a 20 page 8x10 can be had here for about $20USD. That is with a linen bound cover. Not too many details talked about but I really like the idea of being able to give the kids something they can keep and look back on.

Here, an 8 x 10 oil painting (reproduced from a photo) starts at $30 USD. Am seriously thinking this would also be a great family gift. TERRIFIC Ideas Grandad! (You've really got me thinking on this one)

They look like really good prices LLL. I pay around £24 for a 40 page hardbound book. There are some offers around for 25% discount but this is usually for a second copy.

Is the one you quoted just for a picture book? With the company I use (actually in Holland) I do all the design and layout including descriptive text and dedication on my computer then upload for them to do the production.

I am most impressed with todays technology in that you can prepare a very professional looking book at home and have it printed somewhere else in the world, and have just one copy if that is all you require.
