Cleopatra "Queen" Elizabeth has died

Actress Dame Elizabeth Taylor has died at the age of 79, her publicist confirmed in a statement today.
The star passed away from congestive heart failure in hospital last night having suffered from the condition since November 2004.

Yes very sad that another 'old time' star has gone, she was well and 'trully fabulous darling' I loved all the old movie stars.

She was great in National Velvet. Loved that show and loved Liz as Cleopatra too.

I think she came into her own with meatier roles such as Butterfield8 or Who's afraid of Virginia Wolfe, a sad loss , but she did put up a good fiight in the last few years

I heard on the radio this morning while driving to work that she is buried in Forest Lawn close to her friend Michael Jackson. It was also said that Liz had an announcement arranged for her funeral that said she would be 15 minutes late for her own funeral. Apparently she had quite a sense of humour to the very end.
