Well up till now we have had very little Snirt in the UK, but plenty of water though

Interesting one that LLL,

and if it's the same word then we would spell it as CODSWALLOP with an 'O' and it's still a quite widely used word in the UK, but that could be a load of rubbish

Oppps - I misspelled my new word of the day and it IS C
ODSWALLOP. It is an O (and not an A)

To my knowledge and to my hearing it is a word that isn't used here at all nowadays.

Oh it's used a lot here LLL. Our politicians are past masters at spouting a load of codswallop. But I thought it was an international form of 'political speak'. Talk for ages but actually say nothing of any meaning.
There is a School of Codswallop here at a place called Middle Wallop.
