SUN GLORIOUS SUN - that yellow orb is high in the sky and BRIGHT ..........just not sure for how long. So bright might even need to find my shades ........ course as cold as witches britches but the sun IS shining (now for a few)

Back to normal- sat outside in 29* of lovely sunshine, at my big table stripping two buckets of spinach. Just read it was good for ladies hip joints ? I will eat most anything that they say is good (apart from broccoli) that I can grow.Some only once, some of the portuguese teas are foul - - - Forget to put anything on my face, so now am red from the sun - - t-shirt weather again - - -

Wasn't a bad day today - sunny in the morning but quite coolish and then the afternoon the sun disappeared and it turned into a blah day.

I am still not liking that it is getting so DARK so EARLY Makes the evenings so long. I find it hard sometimes not to be bored - so am watching the GOP debate

Sunny day, very heavy dew so no watering. Flies are a pest now. I start feeding now at 4 and later am indoors watching old Ninja and Fort Boyard shows. Nice to have more time, TV and the computer ! I dont have time to be bored - LLL why dont you get some decent DVD games to play, you dont have to be online, just need a pc with a little drawer - haaa haaaaa One of mine, after a couple of hours (time flies) when its around 2 am , it speaks - makes me jump every time - says "arent you hungry " and "are you tired now" .. the cheek of it ! !

Sunny, temperature has dropped down to 23 so I had my scarf on. This year is caterpillar year, even the hens are sick of eating them, I have the most beautiful lace doily effect cabbage -

I drove back to Canada last night for the weekend as the guys installing the heat pump decided that THIS weekend was the ONLY weekend they could be here and pour a larger concrete pad for the new pump.

It was raining really hard for most of the drive which makes it quite tiring as you're constantly watching the road for the flooding across it.

On the dash of my car there is a bright yellow button that comes on whenever there is a possibility of hydroplaning. I HATE that button coming on as it rather panic's me. I can quite tell that there is LOTS of water on the road and I don't need a bright yellow warning button coming on to also tell me there is LOTS of water on the road and I COULD start to hydroplane.

Got the ferry and Zzzzz away my usual 2 hours 'til it left and then put in another 2 hours Zzzzz in the front of the car as we crossed. Not so much as a drop of rain here - overcast but no rain.
