I rememebr Monkey JOJO "Monkey Magic", mind you, back then in the early 70's, King Fu and Martial Arts stuff was popular.
Captain Pugwash..I remember that, I rareley watched it, but some of the names were certainly risque as I recall
Noggin the Nog, I remeber vaguely, but I was one of those kids who was always out, either playing or working on the farm next door.
Gone for hours, infact from about 7 am till 10 PM at night in the summer and my mother never batted an eyelid..
I think that expending all that energy in a positive way as a kid has certainly helped me as I fast approach the big 50.
Poor kids today havent got a clue..
My affair with the TV eneded a long time ago, I just cannot watch it anymore, it's just so dumbed down these days, and the news hardly kepps us informed of anything resembling the truth. It was a concious decision I made to stop watching, it only took a month and i never went back..Shame I cant say the same for the ciggies !
Marine Boy no one remembers Marine Boy ??
I was beginning to think it was all a figment of my imagination, then low and behold from 1966 I found this
I have NEVER saw it in colour before, so seeing this on You Tube was a new experience to me..

Thanks Horus !
I love nostalgia Bill, must be a sign of the ageing process though, because I never used to
Having said that when my kids see this they will really think I lived in ''the olden days'' as they so often say to me One of their favourites is ''Mum, why was everything only black and white in the olden days'' ? I must admit it makes me FEEL old when I see these clips, cos they do look so dated ! but I still love Daktarti

Space Family Robinson used to come on at our suppertime. We'd have the TV on in the livingroom and be just gulping down our meals to get to go into the room to watch.
I remember black and white tube TV where you had to stand up and change the channels as well as have somebody go into the attic to twirl round the antennae.
