In the good old days we were taught to turn off and unplug T'V's when there was thunder and lightening in close proximity. Is that really necessary? Should we do the same with our computers?[/face]

[face=Comic Sans MS] Would you believe it! When I made my last post the sky was clear, ten minutes later and it's started to rain and there has just been a very loud clap of thunder and I can hear more rumbling away in the background.

Having said all that Hepzi, you can still get blasted, I have known it to happen. My advice would still be to unplug your PC during a bad storm if it is practical to do it.

[face=Comic Sans MS]Thank you. Having been blasted across a room by lightening once myself I really don't want it to happen to my computer. [/face]
