Thanks Robbo , but she doesn't get too many baths with shampoo. It is usually one every 3 months when she gets cliped and the odd one like yesterday when she rubbed her head all over in something unspeakable, so a full bath was in order, usually I drop her over an old washing up bowl with warm water and sluice her feet and belly off. Luckily she is not a smelly dog and in better weather a rub with an old towel will get the dirt of her feet, but being small she does need a few more half baths than (feet & Belly) thab a bigger dog would.

Quite bright here today and dry for a change, but the fields will still be very muddy and I hate walking her along footpaths and roads.

Not too good here for a few days now, grey, windy ,cold rather depressing we need to get some sun soon

An odd one for you H. if the unspeakable is the good old fox poo, then try rubbing in some red ketchup on the poo. let it dry, brush it off. it doesn't stain, it neutralises the smell and is cheaper than dog shampoo! its also better for the dog not having to have a bath of course. Sometimes not even a good shampoo can fully clear the awful smell of fox poo.

If I put Ketchup on Annie she would just lick it off, she is a greedy little devil
Anyway the collar is in the bin and a new one on order from Amazon

Year ago I had a cocker spaniel and talk about "smelly dog"!!! My daughters were little and while they typically loved Lacey in the summer soon as the weather got wet the "you stink/get off/get away" were the norm. Poor smelly Lacey She was lovely and while she lasted with us for over a decade for probably 50% of the time she smelled something awful.

My Shih Tzu LIVED for being able to roll in anything garbage. I even caught her once taking a flier OFF the back stairs landing directly into the garbage bin. She was in her glory if she could find anything rotting on any of the beaches and always seemed totally proud of herself when she came back stinking to high heavens.

Weather here is above freezing today and it isn't snowing!! "YEAH!!!!" What we have is melting so the roads are good out there.

This is how its been looking for the past week or so & worse to come over the next couple of days

I think we all should pack cases & move to sunnier climates

We have rain today. Drizzly, murky, foggy, misty ........ At least it is rain vs snow.

Quite bright today although a little chilly, but I see that in Kiya's neck of the woods they have had serious flooding with some snow falling on top of flood water, not a good combination.

Yip some places near by have been flooded, thankfully we're ok here

Its grey & wet today again although the rain has stopped now & the sun tried its best to come out but, no

Overcast and dull with a light drizzle. Not looking too enticing to head out.

Sun is threatening to come out and if comes out I might go out too

Heavy rain as usual, but once or twice the gloom lifted a bit, no sunshine of course.

I'll have to check the outside drains again, there's been about 4 inches of water round the outside of the house. Dunno where it's coming from, but I suspect the newly tarmacked lane right next to the house. Maybe the level has risen enough to pour the water off that area through our little side gate.

Dull dull dull and then dull here today. Sun is nowhere to be seen.

Morning of wind and sun, all washing dry. Then the rain came, huh.
