Yeah - interesting article. I do believe they will spread like a cancer through the land(s). They are militant and will erupt here and there as their numbers grow and then explode.

If it wasn't for their predilection for insisting on bringing their customs, traditions and of course the habit of slagging off everything about their adopted country once they are second or third generation, then it may be acceptable to most people. In most cases it is as though they have never assimilated at all and owe all of their allegiance to some other country or worse still are controlled by outdated practices that must be obvious to even the most ignorant peasant have no place in a modern world once they see the freedom they enjoy in the Western world, but it never seems bad enough for them to give it all up and go back to their parents country of origin again and those that do are not content with that, they also want to destroy our way of life in the bargain.

I think most Arab men are very protective of and jealous re: their women. I think THEY (the men) quite enjoy all the freedoms they have but most/many do not want to extend these to their wife/wives/daughters/moms etc. They have a stake in keeping the little women totally cloistered cause if the little woman had the same freedoms I have they probably wouldn't want to continue to play slave to the Master. I fully realize many women rule the roost in their own homes but they also need to have the freedoms WE do.

I honestly do not believe any of these refugees are really going to adapt. I believe they'll segregate into their own communities and will maintain their own ways and will not assimilate. I see the FIRST step as enforcing mandatory language requirements and insist and enforce they ALL speak English.
