It certainly has MD. I remember around 1965 my father in law declining an offer to buy one at Seasalter for £150. If I had a crystal ball I would have bought the whole row.

Grandads beachhut looks nice on the seafront. I stayed in one at Jaywick, you couldnt use the downstairs toilet when the tide came in - - - I caught flat fish in the shallow water . . . ummmmmm

I wish we had them here. The gov't owns the beaches so they'd be extremely easy to erect and manage and I'm totally sure people would buy them seasonally or rent them monthly and, IMO, they definitely do add color and interest to the beach front.

High tide 3pm today Jay. Not very convenient if taken short and the loos are 300 yards away.
