@ Jayway - yeah I know it seems funny to be 'buying' a free book but in order to get Amazon.com to send you the book you have to click on the "Buy Now" form to get it.

Just finished reading 'The Glass Painter's Daughter' by Rachel Hore. I really enjoyed it to my surprise. This was a new author to me and I will definitely be reading some of her other books. :up

The Wanderers of the Water Realm by Alan Lawton. He lives on the Isle of Mann and so do my friends who sent the book . . . ;)

I read a lot of travel books and recently became aware of an Australian writer, Lydia Laube. The one I'm reading at the moment is called 'Llama for Lunch' and it's about her journey to South America. I haven't finished it yet but for some unknown reason, it's reminding me of LLL! You're not a closet writer are you, LLL?

Nope you haven't got the right name - only TWO "L"s. :P :P

I'm reading an interesting book right now - "Msomi and Me - Tales from the African Bush" by Brian Connell. Light reading but interesting snippets of establishing a Lodge in Africa. Reminds me of Horus and I could see him writing this one! ;) ;) ;)

Thinking about that statement, Horus, I personally would be delighted if you told us a few tales of your African travels! :up

Why thank you RS, I certainly have a few stories, quite varied, but whether they would be of interest to you all I am not sure. :)
