And if you tell us you make your own pasta H, that will be a step too far.
But then, men have always made the best chefs.

You leave me little choice but to agree Grandad
As for the pasta, well it comes in a packet, some things are just not worth the effort

Great dinner all round & the company excellent
Thank goodness for little Annie, those crumbs dropped by Grandad

would have really annoyed me when you didn't let me do the hoovering
Because I haven't seen a pic on here of your newly decorated computer /study room , I had a little peek on the way to the bathroom, it's looking very nice
Grandad thank you for picking me up at the airport, really... I would have got lost without you, & for the lift back to airport, I must've reached home about the same time as yourself after being delayed at the airport for 30mins, not to worry I had a fellow Jock sitting next to me telling me all sorts of dirty joke's
Thank you for a most enjoyable time Horus

we all must do it again sometime not forgetting LLL
LLL ...Glad to hear the twins had a great birthday & everyone enjoyed the cakes

Yes Kiya it is a real shame that LLL could not make it, especially as Grandad took the trouble to bring those lovely Albino Squirrels with him for us to see close up

Yes but it was funny watching Grandad climb the tree to catch the Squirrel again after Annie chased it up there
See you Wednesday then

All you need to do is to bring yourself
If we do not include weekend meals then the next soiree will be next Wednesday as it is someones birthday and I think I shall have a go at doing a Salmon En Croute with Pesto roasted vegetables in a puff pastry with a Lemon and fresh Basil Cream sauce.

If I remember I will take some piccies and do a recipe as I go along
To follow I was thinking of doing a Creme Brulee using real Vanilla pods, fresh double cream and free range eggs.
Yesterday I did a mince beef & Pasta dish that turned out really good and the lot was scoffed, so nothing left to freeze

I will see about putting the recipe up if anyone is interested.

Salmon done any way is always an excellent choice! Love it love it love it.
Crème brule not so much but 'tis ok as I'll just eat more salmon
Whose birthday and how many candles and is the cake edible by all? (Meaning is the birthday Little Annies?) And how old is she anyway? Is she coming up 2 now?
I like mince beef too. Used to make it for the girls often but I don't think I've made it for years...........
Looking forward to photo H!

I got a recipe from the internet yesterday.....Meatballs & Pasta with sauce the old fashioned way, I wonder if it's similar to your mince beef & pasta dish
